Introducing MEME! Intensive

An eight-week inner-game incubator for women driving change kicking off in April 2021.

MEME! is an eight-week virtual embodied leadership coaching program that helps you bring your most confident, creative, compelling and whole self to the table at work. It's designed for women at any leadership level, who are challenging the status quo, and who need to level-up their game in order to make it happen.

Why MEME! is a Game-Changer

At some stage in their careers, most women begin to subtly and unconsciously ignore their bodies and their intuition in order to get ahead at work. This can lead to some short-term success.

But for a woman who is built to be a change-maker, an innovator, a culture-disruptor – a true leader who defines rather than chases the future – this unconscious choice ultimately becomes a massive career limiting move.

Let’s say you’re that woman… When you’re ready to bring your whole self to the party in order to make big things happen, the habits you developed earlier in your career will consistently (and predictably) hold you back. And sometimes... the bigger your vision, the harder they pull.

The good news is, it’s possible to change those habits.

The practices you will learn in MEME! can help you do it fast.

In just 8 weeks...

You will learn the most potent embodied leadership practices I offer to my executive coaching and year-long mastermind clients – practices that realign you with the wisdom of your body, restore your native superpowers, replenish your energy, so that you can accomplish your goals in the most powerful and effective way possible this year.

You will also uncover the One Thing that consistently sabotages your work, and learn how to recognize it, reject it, and release its hold in the most critical moments at work.

The result?

MEME! will speed up your learning curve when it comes to leadership, innovation, and stakeholder influence…
and dissolve any unconscious resistance you have to feeling good in your own skin and enjoying the ride, while doing it.

Here's how I know

I’m LeeAnn! Early in my career, I was a lot like you. Working in an organization with long-standing, outdated policies, I could see how old trends struggled to die. These old ways still were working (ish) and the new stuff was waaaaayyyyy out of our stakeholders’ comfort zones.

Guided by my intuition, I went on a journey to steward the new technologies that could really take our industry to the next level. But quickly, I met my own shadow – layers of resistance, self-sabotage, drivenness that drove me to burnout, unexpected blind spots, anxiety disguised as over-confidence, and subtle doubt that regularly took me and my mission down.

What I found is that each of us visionary leaders has an additional (but excruciatingly important) role to play – the steward of our own internal evolution. While I could see the way forward, I had to take myself through it, in order to lead others there. I had to fully embody the new paradigm at the most micro (even cellular) level in order to cleanly and effectively transmit that invitation to the world. And that’s what I want to teach you.

{
I joined the MEME! program to continue working with LeeAnn on my own transformation journey. ... It was filled with rich content and a beautiful group of women who's openness and strength allowed me to further reflect on my own strengths and abilities to build my confidence.
Megan Maltenfort, Director, Corporate Social Responsibility, Fortune 500 Company

{
I have already seen results in such a short time! I would highly recommend the [MEME!] program to anyone, whether you are a leader now or aspiring to be one. Wish I had learned these methods earlier in my career but will gladly embrace them now!
Lori Herz, Team Leader, University of Rhode Island

{
I'm coming up on a big transition in my life and MEME! has helped me focus on what I really want. I was getting so bogged down in the details, that I has lost focus of what's important. MEME! helped me gain clarity I need to take the next big step!
Ashley Lemons, Program Manager, Naval Air Systems Command
}
{
LeeAnn’s thoughtful guidance throughout the MEME! course played a great role in enabling me to find clarity, trust myself and ultimately land a role that feels more like a calling than a job. I highly recommend MEME! to ambitious women who are seeking something for themselves or their communities that may feel elusive or opaque.
Kimberly S. Greenberg, Chief of Staff, At The Well

What change-makers are saying

Courage
"Working with LeeAnn provided the wisdom, support, and tools to make the career transition I'd been dreaming of and delaying for years. I built greater courage, more clarity about my strengths, and I’ve become more comfortable sharing my voice – especially when taking a stand for what’s important to me. If I’m going to be a role model for other women who want to lead, I need to be able to “own it.”
Clare Bresnahan-English, Former Executive Director, She Should Run
recognition
"LeeAnn is an intuitive, caring and thoughtful coach who knows just what you need when you need it. She creates a safe and trusting space so that her clients can be honest and vulnerable. What’s more, other women in the program provide a source of inspiration, support and strength during your journey. As a result, I am getting even better at embracing my unique abilities as a leader. I’m also living even more fully into my purpose, and receiving more positive recognition at work!"
Megan Maltenfort, Senior Manager, CSR, Fortune 500 Company
Life-Changing
"Working with LeeAnn has been life changing for me. Trying to balance a full-time job, poise myself for career growth, maintain a nurturing home environment for two young kids, and keep the spark alive in my marriage all while expecting to maintain an ideal level of perfection at the same time was simply not sustainable. Now, I feel like I have everything I need to succeed AND grow in these areas while, truly keeping "me" at the forefront. I use these tools every day."
Ashley Lemons, Program Manager, Naval Air Systems Command
Self-Care
"I got much more out LeeAnn's program than I ever expected. LeeAnn truly coaches with such empathy and intuitive intelligence. She helps you better understand the root of the problem with very relevant analogies. I enrolled in order to make more time for my own self-care. As a female entrepreneur burnout is common, since as women we juggle many life and work roles. Having the group as an outlet allowed me to reframe the way I think and the way I lead."
Tito Ogunsola-Smith, Owner, Concierge Physical Therapy and Wellness

But... who has time for support
(when you're busy changing the world?)

Focused personal development leads to company wide impact. But only if it is effective.

Right now, the world is asking more of us. Our work is changing fast. In some industries, like technology… perhaps too fast for us to keep up. In others, like environmental sustainability… it will never be fast enough.

The bottom line is: in order to stay in the driver’s seat, your personal and professional growth curve must remain ahead of the change you are seeking to lead.

Unfortunately, most of us carry around unconscious “programming” (habits, beliefs, behaviors etc.) that were born from old, outdated paradigms (the very ones we’re trying to change!) That means some part of our internal compass is working directly against us, even as we declare a new future and begin walking toward it.

In other words, if you are a woman who is committed to driving change… you can’t afford NOT to look in the mirror.

MEME! provides concrete tools, practical support, and a fired-up community of like-minded peers who will hold you to your biggest goals and call you on your biggest bluffs…

...so that you can have exactly the impact you envision—with far, far fewer of the potential costs, mis-steps, energy-drains and un-necessary re-work along the way.

If you’re leading a major initiative, an innovative startup, or a community impact project that you deeply, deeply care about, it probably feels like you’re holding up the world.

The truth is…in some way, you probably are.

The lie is…you’re too busy, too tired, or too broke to get support.

In fact, it’s an essential part of the transformation process – and the change you're driving right now. Your initiative will never hum at a higher vibration than you – the leader – are able to vibe inside of yourself.

If you’re 100% committed to the change you are stewarding in your industry, organization or community, and you KNOW you need to provide the cleanest, clearest, strongest transmission of your message possible in order to get the critical stakeholders on board – then (even if you think you don’t have time for it) I promise. This program is for you.

The MEME! Curriculum

The MEME! Curriculum takes you through a step-by-step process to identify and deconstruct your personal glass ceiling, and embody a new method of leadership that is fully aligned with your highest potential impact.

Not only will you design and execute your own breakthrough in just eight weeks... you will also learn a unique and powerful method that you can use again and again, over the course of your career.

Here's what we'll cover over the first six weeks

Week 1
Your Vision + What is Embodiment?

In week one, you'll get support to get crystal clear about the roadmap for your professional growth over the next 3-6 months - where you're going, and why it matters. Plus, you'll gain a deeper understanding of how embodied leadership tools can help you get there.

Week 2
The "One Thing" Still Holding you Back

Week two is about getting underneath the excuses and identifying the one thing that's held you back most in the past. (Hint... it's probably not what you think!) When this is clear, you'll know exactly what needs to shift in order for you to have the impact you desire.

Week 3
The Anatomy of Self-Sabotage

In week three, you'll discover why that habit has been SO hard to shake. You'll get to know how it works, what it serves (yep! there's a reason for it), and how to work with it more effectively, so that it stops working against you.

Week 4
Your North Star + Trusting Your Longing

Week four turns the tables on your old, counterproductive habits, by helping you identify a concise and practical goal that's bigger (and brighter!) than your deepest fears. We call this your "North Star" – and when you find it, you'll understand why.

Week 5
"Quality Control" + Expand Your Range

In week five, you will answer the question "who do I need to be in order to get there?" Armed with the wisdom you gathered in the first four weeks, you'll define the core qualities of presence and being that will take your leadership and impact to the next level.

Week 6
Daily Practice: How to Be The Change

Week six is about making it stick. With the support of your new MEME! peers, you'll begin establishing simple daily and weekly practices that will help you cultivate those qualities. You will also get help to put a professional support system that will keep you on track, after the program ends.

Meet LeeAnn

Your MEME! coach, mentor and initiator

I started my career in 2005 at a pretty bad-ass boutique consulting firm in the San Francisco Bay Area, and quickly became a coach to high-impact executives at organizations around the globe. Yet even as I fell more deeply in love with my work in the professional-development industry, I felt something was missing – the body.

Having grown up as an athlete, I unconsciously retired that part of myself at the age of 21 when "succeeding at work" really mattered... then spent my entire early career in a battle between the deep and subtle wisdom of my physical being and the hard-driving logic of my mind.

Lucky for me (and you!), I met my first mentor in the field of somatics and embodied leadership and something finally clicked. Since then, I've invested my heart, mind and soul in learning how to bridge the mind-body divide. As an embodied leadership coach mastering in full-system transformation, I’ve had the privilege and pleasure to hold space for hundreds of leaders and dozens of organizations struggling to make the same kind of leap. Literally, to catch-up with the vision they have for themselves and the world around them.

What I’ve found is this: not only is the leap possible, but the hurdles – and skills needed to overcome them – are relatively predictable. It’s an inner game… but a game nonetheless – with rules that can be learned.

Today, I help forward-thinking women (and men) who are driving change inside of their organizations, industries and communities to impact more people and get better results…without burning out. I do this by teaching them how to access wisdom of their bodies, recover their native superpowers, and trust their intuition. My clients consistently learn how to wield more power (and make more money!) in a way that’s effective, that’s truly sustainable for them, and that’s also good for the constituents they serve.

"I couldn't help but think that at my level, I should have learned this stuff before – but these are things that we all struggle with as women still."

"This work helped me to get back in my body, and gave me the tools to help me handle the most difficult moments with grace."

"Participating in LeeAnn’s program helped me take back things I’d let go of and really needed." "I am MUCH more competent as a leader and much more skilled as compared to my peers, having participated in this program.""I learned to manage my emotions more effectively when they get out of hand at work. This makes a huge difference for my team."

"For the first time in this job, I can really see the strengths that I bring to the team in action, and I feel more free to be myself."

"I routinely felt overwhelmed and secretly doubted my effectiveness. Now, I no longer feel at the mercy of forces I can't control."

"LeeAnn’s program has been pure magic for me – I am constantly amazed at how much more confident, powerful and resilient I am, as a result."

"The stress and challenges of transforming the department haven’t gone away, but I am much better able to deal it."

"I have practical tools at my disposal that help me stay true to my own intentions and priorities as a leader in my organization. And, I’m beginning to share what I’ve learned with my team."

"I feel blessed to be supported by LeeAnn and the other amazing women who are part of this tribe."

"Working with LeeAnn has been a gift. It wasn’t easy at the start, but now things are changing for me big time."

More praise from our clients

Resiliency
"When I first connected with LeeAnn, I’d been through a “burnout” episode. I didn’t want it to happen again... but I was also eager to reach the next level. After just one session with LeeAnn, I was offered a unique leadership role at a brand new organization!  It was a great fit. With LeeAnn's help I am becoming a more resilient and compassionate individual who is excited – rather than anxious – about the new challenges ahead of me. Get ready to learn practices that will serve you a lifetime of success!”
Veena Raja, Audit Director, BDO USA
Centered
"I met LeeAnn at a challenging point in my leadership. I would have been considered successful – but I was struggling inside. By meeting me where I was, and holding me accountable in a compassionate way, LeeAnn helped equip me to make better choices. Now I am more centered than I ever have been, with more joy in my life. And I’m leading a bigger team at work."
Danielle Scaturro, Executive Director, PropelNext
Presence
"Six years after PhD, and three years into my faculty position, I received some feedback that I was downplaying my own recommendations in meetings and not voicing my opinions with the confidence it takes to be an effective leader in the field. I worked hard to earn my degree… but I needed to learn to fully advocate for my work. LeeAnn’s unique approach helped me to develop a stronger presence. I highly recommend this program to other women who may be struggling to build confidence. It will help you bring an inner strength to everything you do."
Tara Lavelle, Assistant Professor, Tufts Medical Center

MEME! FAQ

Q. How is MEME! really different from other women’s programs?

MEME! directly – and successfully – targets the embodiment of deeper leadership skills and calls forth your own personal native superpowers, using a feminine (i.e. non-patriarchal) approach. Rather than teaching traditional leadership, impact and stakeholder engagement skills as boxes check on your way to the top, MEME! illuminates the ways that your not-so-great habits are actually symptoms of your deepest unconscious self-sabotage game.

Together, we work to identify and change them. Breaking free in this way is akin to dismantling the patriarchy… inside of yourself.

Q. What kind of women will be in my MEME! cohort? Will there be other people like me?

When I open a program like MEME!, I aim to “call in” a group of like-minded women across industries, from different sectors, of different ages, nationalities and ethnicities. I do this on purpose – because I’ve found that there’s no greater value than learning from women with the same challenges who look very different than yourself. In particular, I believe that cross-sector cross-pollination (education -> non-profit, non-profit -> corporate, corporate -> government etc) breeds innovative ideas that raise the bar across the board.

All of the women who join my programs are up to game-changing work in their industries, organizations and communities. And we are always surprised at how very much we have in common. That said, if you want to be sure there will be more women like you in the group… I encourage you to invite your friends!

Q. What if I know I really need this, but I’m just too busy right now?

Totally understand. 90% of my current clients had exactly this same concern. It’s one reason they felt called to participate. Rest assured that I have designed this program for busy women, just like you. It’s set up to deliver the maximum benefit with the minimum amount of time and energy investment. I’ve removed all fillers. Every activity is practical – and most can be implemented on the fly, as part of what you’re already committed to doing every day at work.

The “catch 22” is this: the very things you’ll need to do in order to make time for the program are typically the very same moves you’ll need to make in order to end self-sabotage, bring your deeper strengths online, and get your energy back.

Q. I think I should probably just hire an individual coach. Can I really get the support I need as part of a group?

I agree – individual coaching is fantastic. But… (and this is a big but)… if you want to get quality individual coaching support with a highly skilled executive coach it’s going to cost you hundreds of dollars an hour. If you’ve got the resources, give me a call! I’d LOVE to go deep with you. If not, trust me, this is the next best thing.

After running a year-long mastermind program for five years, I designed this program especially for women who are a bit strapped for cash and want to get the maximum benefit for the bare minimum investment. BECAUSE I’ve been doing transformational executive-level coaching for over a decade, I bring every ounce of that expertise into our group coaching sessions. And I keep the group small enough so that I can know and understand every woman’s story.

If you speak up and ask a question, you will get a totally custom-to-you answer that goes right to the heart of your issue. What’s more, you’ll ALSO get “bank shots” – answers to questions you didn’t even think to ask on topics your peers are grappling with (and chances are, you are too).

Most women find they get at least as much support and transformation in a group like this – and we go way deeper than coaching apps like Better-Up. Please do not use “I prefer an individual coach” as an excuse to wait another year to get the support you really need right now. Start here.

Q. I’m not so sure about virtual coaching… what if I prefer live people meeting face-to-face?

I get it. I felt that way about online training too… at first. What I’ve come to see is that meeting virtually saves time and energy (which is super important for a busy woman, who is trying to change her world!) And – believe it or not – we can go just as deep. I’ve been coaching people virtually for over twelve years. I’ve learned to “hear” your emotions and “see” your body language, even by phone. For all of these reasons, most of my clients actually come to prefer the virtual format.

AND, because we’re not wasting time or energy arriving, leaving, settling in, making a good first impression, managing images, engaging in small talk, deciding what to wear (lol, the list goes on…) we get right to the heart of the matter on each of our group coaching calls.

Q. What if I can’t afford the tuition, but I know this program is for me?

There are lots of ways to gather the financial resources for your tuition. I do offer a limited number of scholarships to women with limited financial resources who are doing game-changing work and are deeply committed to their own personal development. Many of my clients also talk to their employers about company sponsorship.

I recommend you get clear about what you need and want first… then figure out how to pay for it. You never know what’s possible until you set your mind to it!

Cool? Let's dive in!
